Barbara Downey of the Michigan based Earring Holder Gallery discusses the in and outs of painting on screen with a customer at the Craftmans Classic event held last weekend in Chantilly, VA.

Because of its proximity to Baltimore, where screen painting originated 100 years ago, many attendees are familiar with the process but are fascinated by Barbara's use of the screens as hand-painted earring & jewelry holders. An expert screen painter with nearly 20 years experience, Downey demonstrates her techniques at Art & Craft shows throughtout the year.
